Our AERO Specialties Assembly Technicians are responsible for building a variety of specialized equipment such as tow bars and lavatory carts used in servicing aircraft. This position is not an assembly line role and does require the ability to build a unit from start to finish while utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies.
What are we looking for? Someone who is:
- Great with hand tools and other equipment to complete the build of AERO products
- Attentive to detail as they utilize our build procedures which ensures each unit meets company and customer specifications
- Able to take pride in their work as they certify that each unit meets quality standards; check units for defects and accuracy
- Dedicated to adhering to documentation requirements to ensure proper tracking of units through the build process
- Driven to accomplish other duties as assigned
Requirements
What qualifies someone for this position?
- Experience using hand and power tools is essential; aviation parts experience is a plus!
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stay focused while multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to competently operate a forklift and/or complete our internal forklift training program
