Position Summary
Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician position is responsible for routine and repetitive assembly of filters using a variety of fixtures and techniques. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Follow directions and standard work practices to assemble housing units for filter components.
Responsible for accurate product count matching customers' needs.
Prepare products for shipping by packing and labeling product based on customers' requirements.
Ensure Parker Hannifin's quality standards are being upheld by using different quality assurance. equipment including handheld and mounted devices.
Use a variety of power and hand tools to tighten, lubricate, torque and fixate components of housing unit.
Prepares necessary paperwork and reports.
Work area must be clean and clear at all times.
Capable of pulling components for routers.
Ability to read a print.
Ability to navigate on computer i.e. 3270, Enovia.
Ability to perform basic electrical wiring i.e. filter cart.
Must be able to perform and lifting requirements in all areas of assembly.

Qualifications:
Manufacturing or related experience preferred.
Knowledge of diagrams to ensure proper specifications are being met.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
Ability to work overtime as needed including Saturdays
