Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Quality Engineer team. As an Assembly Quality Engineer you will be responsible for all quality planning and production support of all manufacturing assemblies in the factory. In addition, you will:
Essential Functions:
- Provide tactical line support for assembly lines, field ready testing, and offline machine readiness areas
- Work with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, product support, and design
- Assist Senior Quality Engineer in quality planning activities, such as PFMEA, Control Plans, capability studies, Etc.
- Lead defect analysis and issue resolution team meeting for containment, root cause, and corrective action
- Support quality improvement initiatives to support our operations
- Support daily management review meetings and lead daily D3 meeting
- Leading a team of quality technicians on day-to-day activities
Qualifications
What Skills You Need
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with basic understanding of assembly processes & tools
- Experience leading meetings to drive root cause, manage issue resolution, and assure project activity dates are on time
- Effective communicator, who thrives on solving problems and improving processes
- Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams
- Basic time management, project management, and ability to multitask

Education or Relevant Work Experience
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Etc.
- In lieu of degree – Two or more years proven history in manufacturing environment
