Role and Responsibilities
- Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and product.
- Utilize hand held tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drill and rivet guns.
- Use of measuring equipment such as rule, tape measure and clippers.
- Maintain inventory of hardware in assembly area.
- Perform quality work checks to insure product meets quality standard.
- Identify product defects and notify line lead/manager
- Actively participate to improve processes and systems.
- Promote a safe and clean work environment by continuous cleaning throughout the day.
- Work with personnel to clean work area every day before leaving.
- Accurately follow OSHA guidelines and maintain compliance for all business obligations.
- Accurately follow ISO procedures.
- Performs other functions as required
- High School Degree is required
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- This is a 40 hour per week job with occasional mandatory overtime depending on business needs.
