Job Overview:
We are a small, innovative shop seeking to add one team member to our very cohesive team. We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Mechanical Technician to work closely with the operations team. As an assembler you will be responsible for tasks to build our machines and the functions relating to making sure we have all of the resources and tools necessary for a build. As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various mechanical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
-Making sure all parts are on hand for a build.
-Working with team to follow up with vendors on parts needed to be ready for a build.
-Check in parts and maintain stock.
-Participate/lead the build of a machine.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on mechanical systems and equipment
- Repair or replace defective components in mechanical systems, such as motors, pumps, valves, and bearings
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts, cleaning equipment, and adjusting settings
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of mechanical systems
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in detailed reports
-Periodic visits to customers, occasionally, after a full understanding of our equipment, and provide service.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification a bonus
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficient in reading technical diagrams and manuals
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
