This is a support role within the manufacturing department that directly contributes to the production of high-quality products. As an Assembler/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating components to meet production goals and maintain operational efficiency.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or similar setting.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Familiarity with RF Scan and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, such as shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
- At least 1-2 years of direct operations experience.
- Experience operating automated packaging machinery for a minimum of 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Manufacturing Supervisor in all operational activities.
- Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for 8-10 hours per day.
- Collaborate with team leads, supervisors, and managers to achieve production targets.
Communication
- Notify the Manufacturing Supervisor when additional support is required in the work area.
- Engage in regular and effective communication with colleagues within the department.
- Provide daily updates on work progress, defects, slotting activities, and suggestions for improvement.
- Offer feedback to team leads, supervisors, and managers regarding daily incidents and performance.
Productivity
- Maintain a strong work ethic, taking pride in your work and demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Continuously provide feedback to team leads, supervisors, and managers on daily occurrences.
- Ability to lead and guide team members in the work area, ensuring high-quality production.
- Deliver clear and concise instructions, following up to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
Compensation
- 1st Shift: $15.50 per hour
- 2nd & 3rd Shifts: $16.25 per hour
Workdays: Monday – Friday
1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
3rd shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am
