Responsibilities:
- Works with a wider variety of products or assembly processes
- Work with more complex documentation
- May perform some basic testing or measurements
- Performs mechanical assembly operations in the build of electronic assemblies using standard measuring tools & techniques
- Performs electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components
- Identifies and escalates equipment, material or documentation issues impacting quality or output
- Inspects work and does detailed processing of substrates using a microscope
- Strengthen knowledge of CAES 6S framework and actively participate in 6S initiatives
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- One year experience in an Assembly environment to include J-Standard soldering experience
- Familiarity with ESD & FOD controlled environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ESD grounded equipment strongly preferred
- Proficient in the use of equipment as defined by your Supervisor
- Experience in, or willingness to learn, ribbon bonding
- Capably identifies standard problems as they occur and takes appropriate action to solve basic issues
- Ability and willingness to learn to interpret process sheets, prints, technical drawings
- Experience using small hand tools
- Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, small tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Sitting, looking through a microscope
- Standing or walking for prolonged periods of time
- Repeat the same movements
- Occasionally lifting of light items weighing 5 to 10 pounds
- Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
