Assembler – 2nd Shift

Penmac Staffing has immediate openings for their Assembler position with a Springfield commercial manufacturer. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement.

Assembly position will be building units, which means each assembler puts together an entire unit. They can be complex so mechanical experience or aptitude is required. This position requires candidates to possess the required list of tools and have extensive Mechanical Assembly experience.

2nd Shift: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (Monday through Friday, some OT required)

Candidate must be able to train on 1st shift

Responsibilities can include:

*Follow blueprint accurately to build the unit

*Correct any errors found by quality control

*Complete builds in a timely manner, with a low error margin

Requirements include:

*High School Diploma or equivalent, required

*Must have Steel Toed Boots, long pants

*Must be able to read a tape measure
