Assembler - 1St Shift

Do you have a passion for assembling products and using hand tools? We’re hiring Assemblers for our company’s premier metal fabrication manufacturing plant in Raymond, MS. This position is on our 1st Shift (7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.).

If you possess:

• The ability to assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• The ability to operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Hunter offers $20.40 as the starting rate with opportunities for advancement in level and pay.

As an Assembler:

What you will do:

• Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Observes and follows all safety rules.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Silver or higher on NCRC/Work Keys exam is preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
