Aspiring Groomer!

We are looking for a full-timer who has aspirations of becoming a groomer.

Career advancement opportunity includes a professional groomer mentor who will train you in grooming and bathing.

Did you know that pet grooming is a career with very high earning potential once you’re properly trained?  It's reasonable to expect income close to $200k once you've gained experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide basic grooming services to guests. This will include shampoo, condition, dry, brush, toenail trim, ear cleaning, etc.
• Be responsible for providing "go-home" baths for boarding guests
• Follow the daily bathing schedule.
• Properly secure and reassure the pets to ensure optimal safety and comfort.
• Train and work toward completing full grooms on all breeds

Requirements include:

• Able to handle a variety of animals safely and comfortably.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to bend, crouch, stoop and have full use of both hands to properly secure the animals.
• Positive attitude with proven ability to work well with a team.
• Strong desire to learn. You must be highly driven and not afraid to make mistakes as you relentlessly pursue improvement and growth.
