Asphalt Plant Loader Operator

M Luis Products, LLC., a woman / minority-owned Asphalt Manufacturing Company, is looking for a Loader Operator with experience working at Asphalt Plants to join our team.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating a loader. Prior experience working with asphalt and at Asphalt Plants, including general laborer duties, is preferred.

Requirements:

- Operation of loader.

- Knowledge of Asphalt Plant.

- Perform basic maintenance and service on Asphalt Plant as required.

- Cleans and maintain yard daily.

- Keep plant lubed and greased

- Maintain oil levels of plant.

- Shoveling, sweeping, raking dirt, gravel, and asphalt

- Must perform other general laborer duties as assigned.

- Loader skills required

Physical Demands:

- Job requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, walking, standing, reaching and squatting

- Must be able to carry heavy loads of materials

Work Environment:

- Physical ability to work under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time. Normal shift is 8-12 hours.

- Must be able to work day or night shift, including weekends.

- May be exposed to extremes of hot or cold weather.

- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes and shift changes. Overtime work will be required.

Must have reliable transportation to Rockville, MD.
