You will be a key member of the paving crew responsible for ensuring the proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations. Working closely with the paving team, you will play a critical role in achieving smooth and uniform surfaces for roads and parking lots.
- Assist in the distribution of hot mix asphalt onto prepared surfaces using lutes, shovels, and other hand tools.
- Operate the lute,
- Previous experience in asphalt paving or construction is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training may be provided for candidates with the right attitude and aptitude.
Byrne & Jones Ohio is a non-union contractor occasionally performing Prevailing Wage work. Typical work includes small to large commercial construction & paving projects.
