Asphalt Laborer

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable construction worker to join our team. You will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the crew supervisor. Although experience isn't essential, you will have to be physically fit and a fast learner.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks.

Construction Worker Responsibilities:
- Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Removing debris, garbage, and materials from job sites.
- Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Stripe and sealcoat parking lots. Perform a variety of asphalt maintenance services.
- Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete molds for the production of wheelstops and other concrete products.

Construction Worker Job Requirements:
- Typical work days range from roughly 6:30a - 4:30p. Some overtime, night shifts, and weekends required. Out-of-town shifts required.
- No formal qualification is required, although a high school diploma may be preferred.
- Similar work experience may be beneficial.
- A valid and current drivers license is a plus.
- Be amicable and a team player.
- Be healthy, strong, and fit.

• Many projects will require night shifts and/or out-of-town work ranging from 1-3 weeks. Are you able to work out-of-town for approximately three consecutive weeks? Daily Per diem, transportation, and lodging will be provided for all out-of-town projects.
