Would you like to conceive and develop leadership silicon technology for next generation ASIC products at Broadcom?
We are looking for engineers that want to create new designs that can evolve rapidly over the next several generations in a very dynamic market. You will be responsible for FPGA and emulation builds for the next generation ASICs and work on bring-up, debug, design and verification of both FPGA and emulation systems. This is a rare opportunity to be part of an emerging product line, the lead product for a new line of devices. The candidate will work closely with our worldwide design and software team, to develop and build new emulation prototypes. All aspects of FPGA and Emulation design will be involved, along with opportunities for system level software engagement and debug and technical leadership.
BSEE and 8+ years of industry experience in high speed communication chip architecture and FPGA design or MSEE and 6+ years of industry experience. Strong knowledge & background in FPGA platforms (including compiling, synthesizing and partitioning) is required. Experience with ethernet or PCIe, is highly desired. Should have proven ability to bringup, debug and tune for performance proto-typing systems (like HAPS, Zebu, Veloce, Palladium etc). Hands-on experience in the ASIC RTL design process, including architecture definition, RTL coding, simulation/verification, synthesis, timing closure are required. Ideal candidate must have good software skills and have the ability to work closely with software engineers in replicating and debugging issues. Must have strong communication and documentation skills and have scripting skills using either Python/Perl. Must be a self-starter and a strong team player

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
