We are seeking community and safety-oriented individuals interested in leading creative activities for a diverse range of participants.

Job Overview:
As an Arts & Crafts Instructor, you'll play a key role in creating an inclusive learning environment for participants of all ages and abilities. If you're community-focused and have a knack for recreation, we want you on our team!
Art & Craft instruction takes place on a part-time basis during center hours in a classroom setting. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.
Classes are typically offered Monday-Thursday mornings between 9:00am-11:00am and in the afternoons between 3:30pm-6:00pm, dependent on registrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead recreational activities, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
- Design Arts & Crafts classes based on participant needs, interests, and capabilities.
- Supervise and lead participants of all abilities, with class safety in mind.
- Attend staff meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to prepare lesson plans and provide clear instructions to participants.
- Maintain accurate participant registration and attendance records.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the activity area, including equipment storage.
- Prioritize participant safety and report incidents promptly.
- Work cooperatively with others and create a positive, constructive relationship with families, staff, participants and general public.
Instructor I:No teaching experience required, must love working with people of all ages and abilities; able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age.
Pay range: $16.89 - $17.92 hourly, based on experience.

Instructor II:Must have at least 1-year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age.
Pay range: $18.41 - $20.74 hourly, based on experience.

Instructor III:Must have over 1-year of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area, and have a valid driver's license.
Pay range: $20.31 - $22.87 hourly, based on experience.

Instructor IV:Experience: Over two (2) years of experience in the specialty area AND Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade plus additional specialized training equivalent to four years of college.
Pay range: $28.58 - $32.16 hourly, based on experience.

Requirements:

- Current First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
