DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An Artist Illustrator 2 uses many different art media to prepare a wide variety of artwork. Within this role, you will design and manufacture complex graphic art for publications, displays, various substrate signage, and other visual materials used for public information, training, or to promote agency programs. You will have the opportunity to select appropriate visual styles and techniques to effectively communicate project objectives, prioritize tasks based on project deadlines and departmental requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design feedback and make necessary revisions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- Two years as an Artist Illustrator I; or
- Three years of progressively responsible art experience, including illustration preparation and general display and exhibits work; and two years of formal training in fine arts or design.
- Appropriate art experience may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
