Job Summary:
This role supports both the AI (Artificial Intelligence) team and the Software teams to ensure our machines are executing the proper data to propel our technology forward. The AI Manager is responsible for AI R&D projects and operational deployment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks and communicate to AI team members
- Coordinate AI team with other engineering, software, and customer support group
- Attend team meetings and brainstorming sessions to challenge critical thinking and serve as a resource for others
- Spearhead individual and group goal setting initiatives
- Regularly assess performance and collaboration through 1-on-1 conversations; evaluations for team members and follow up when needed
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees of the AI team
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with international teams to align priorities of projects with total team and manage timelines for said projects
- Setup project timelines, manage priorities and deadlines across departments
- Explore patterns and abilities of the upcoming AI field projects
- Develop skills for other departments to increase efficiency across the company
- Collaboration and discussion with department leaders to align priorities and ensure consistent process throughout each project
- Create and produce training materials for new team members
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Effectively communicate with teammates, managers, and other departments
- Experience with Deep Learning AI techniques and one or more frameworks (best: Tensorflow and PyTorch)
- Excellent technology skills with Microsoft teams, Outlook, Excel and data management tools for all AI initiatives
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related filed
- 2-5 years of mission and deep learning experience
- 1-3 years of project management and/or leading teams
