Job Title: Articulated Dump Truck Driver
Location: Metro Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Operation:
· Perform such tasks as clearing land, moisture conditioning, site excavation, cutting roadways or parking lots, demolish or remove debris or stumps, or perform general cleanup.
· Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Tasks:
· Drive and maneuver equipment in successive passes over working areas to remove topsoil, vegetation, or rocks or to distribute and level earth or terrain.
· Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, crawler tractors, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
· Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
· Align machines, cutterheads, or depth gauge makers with reference stakes and guidelines or ground or position equipment, following hand signals of other workers.
Soft Skills:
· Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
· Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
· Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
· Study instructions, plans, or diagrams to establish work requirements.
· Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Safety:
· Learn and follow safety regulations.
· Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
· Wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety Shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats.
· Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
· Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
· Keep records of material or equipment usage or problems encountered.
Work Environment:
· Duration of typical work week – 50+ hours; weather permitting
· Outdoors, exposed to weather daily sometimes in an open vehicle or equipment
· Exposed to hazardous equipment
· Sounds and noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable
· Working with groups or teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
