Art Studio Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Art Studio Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our studio by performing various tasks such as opening and closing procedures, preparing the studio space for classes, organizing art supplies, checking in students, assisting with dismissal, and ensuring overall studio functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Open and close the studio according to schedule

• Set up and organize studio space for classes

• Arrange art supplies and ensure they are adequately stocked

• Greet and check in students upon arrival

• Assist with student dismissal and ensure their safety

• Help maintain a clean and organized studio environment

• Assist with additional tasks to ensure the smooth running of the studio

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Background or experience in art is highly desirable

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Note:

This is a part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. The schedule will be determine by class schedule and studio needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
