Wal Art Gallery & Framing is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic part-time Custom Framing Sales Associate to join our team. As a leading custom framing retailer, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch service and quality products to our customers. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for creativity and has excellent customer service skills to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers, helping them to select the perfect frame for their cherished pieces. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, conducting consultations, and assisting with the design and assembly of custom frames. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the custom framing department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service or sales role. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Knowledge of framing techniques and materials is a plus, but not required as we will provide training for the right candidate.T his is a part-time position. The requirements and responsibilities for this position are below.
Responsibilities:
- Proper cleaning, stocking, and displaying of inventory products on the gallery floor
- Deliver items to local business customers
- Efficiently receive and process custom frame orders and general sales
- Business marketing through the use of Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Daily completion of gallery checklist
- Execute all responsibilities timely and efficiently
- Learn quickly and ask questions about job when you don't know something
- Requirements
- Must be able to work every Saturday for the next 6 months due to training
- Have a flexible availability and able to work 3 days a week including Saturdays
- Must have valid driver’s license to make deliveries
- Reliable transportation getting to and from work
- Must be able to efficiently create and operate multi-media videos and posts using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat)
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs and climb ladders
- Follow dress & appearance code policy
- Not eligible to submit time off for 90 days after getting hired (accommodations can be made during interview only)
- Must be able to read a tape measure and calculate fractions
- Must have at least one year of customer service and sales experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
