We are seeking a client focused candidate who has the ability to turn strangers into long-term members of the Aspen Art Gallery family of Fine Art Collectors. Candidates must have a proven track record of success selling Fine Art in a commission based environment; (high-end and luxury categories will be considered favorably) must be self motivated, charismatic, detail-oriented, organized, articulate in writing and phone communications skills.

Specifics:

  • Consult with a variety of stakeholders. Artists, prospects, long-term clients, and the community…. customizing Artworks to find the perfect solutions for any client.
  • Maintain CRM and executing consistent, tailored, follow-up to give clients every opportunity to secure the Artwork they love. Every-time.
  • Be prepared to perform a variety of tasks allocated by the Gallery Director on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. For example, maintaining the Gallery, moving Artworks, shipping artworks, processing artworks and event operations.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Intermediate understanding and proficiency using the following software: Mac Os, Internet, Google Platform, CRM Software.
  • Some registrar duties – art handling, assisting with packing, shipping, and installing artwork.
  • Entering new inventory and new clients into the database.
  • Maintaining and updating gallery database and website.
  • Responding to client inquiries, both in person and via email.
  • Keeping track of gallery deadlines, schedules, and task lists.

Experience Education and KnowledgeStatus

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience, preferably in a luxury sales environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • High School Diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Knowledge of fine art helpful
  • Requiring 20-30hrs. This is a part-time position requiring the ability to work evening and weekend hours
  • Resume and cover letter required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
