Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
Under general supervision, and according to general policies and standardized procedures, the NFCH ARNP works collaboratively with other clinical and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
Qualifications
Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
A current Board of Nursing License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state practicing
A valid Board of Nursing License as a Registered Nurse in the state practicing
Must maintain current BLS certification
Responsibilities
Focuses on patient and family education and assists patients and their families in their efforts toward recovery and rehabilitation
Monitors patient care and treatment
Document all patient care within an electronic health record
Respond to patient care inquiries throughout the day
Increase patient engagement and satisfaction through integration of feedback from patients, management, and professional colleagues
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
