We are excited to expand our team at Security Dynamics Corp, and we're currently seeking Retired Police Officers who are passionate about continuing their service and positively impacting our client in Montgomery, Illinois. As an Armed Security Officer, your role is critical in maintaining safe and secure surroundings for our client. Your training and experience will be invaluable in contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional security services, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Applicants willing to work the 0000 - 0600 hours shift will be given preference over other applicants. Shift differential pay available!

• Shift Differential Pay: $29.50 for the 0000 - 0600 hour shift

Available Shifts

• 0000 - 0600 Hrs
• 0600 - 1200 Hrs
• 1200 - 1800 Hrs
• 1800 - 0000 Hrs

Essential Functions

• Patrol assigned areas by foot and vehicle
• Answers call for assistance, including investigation of crimes, deaths, accidents, and injuries
• Enforces, controls, and directs traffic when appropriate
• Performs arrests for criminal violations of law
• Administers first aid in emergency cases
• Investigates suspicious circumstances
• Takes crime prevention measures and assists in controlling problems as they relate to the client
• Submits complete written reports and other documents as may be required
• Participates in required training courses and programs

Qualifications

• United States citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US;

• High school diploma or equivalent required, but college degree preferred;
• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire;
• Not convicted of any felony in any jurisdiction or other crimes of moral turpitude. Conviction of crimes other than felonies may be used in determining moral character but may not necessarily constitute an absolute bar to employment, except where the applicant is a registered sex offender;
• Possess a valid FOID
• Possess valid PERC
• Possess valid IROCC
• Possess valid retired law enforcement ID card
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and online assessment;
• Complete all required training
