Armed Security Officer

Open Position- Friday-Monday (32 hrs/wk): 1600-0000

Clark International is seeking a professional, self-motivated, dependable candidate for an Armed Security Officer (ASO) position in a corporate environment. Applicants must have pistol qualification in congruence with a Certified LE pistol qualification within the last year.

This position is a fast-paced work environment. Clark International is looking for a candidate with proficient hard skills (Defensive Tactics, skill with a pistol, physically fit), as well as soft skills such as verbal de-escalation.

Recommended Experience:

• Prior or current law enforcement

or

• Prior military police / security forces

or

• Current employment with Clark International as an Unarmed Security Officer, meeting the necessary requirements.

Job Description:

At Clark International, we strive to provide security services that are above industry standards. We are looking for a self-motivated, competent Armed Security Officer to provide uniformed security. Applicant must be able to stand a post and foot patrol assigned areas, must be diligent in observation skills, personable, and professional. Applicants should be physically fit, able to comply with uniform standards, and willing to represent Clark International and our clients in a professional manner. Officers will utilize computer software for patrols and reports. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Applicants must be able to de-escalate situations and use critical thinking to solve problems. Applicants should have a strong defensive tactics background.

Required by Employee:

• Duty Belt meeting specifications listed in SOP.
• Pistol and all companion equipment (flashlight, extra magazines, OC spray, etc.).
• Ballistic Vest meeting specifications listed in SOP (recommended but not required).
• Current pistol qualification in congruence with a Certified LE pistol qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
