We are looking for an Area Sales manager to grow our corporate accounts for three hotels in Michigan. This job is for sales hunters only! If you love doing paperwork, completing CRM data entries all day, and creating graphs and forecasts, then move on--this job isn't for you. However, if you love the open road, and cold calling, always ready for your next sales call and if pounding the pavement and the keyboard looking for your next sale is your idea of a fun day...then this gig is for you!
The following job description includes, but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
Will be required to visit markets where hotels are regularly
Maintain sales policies and procedures for standardization purposes
Follows up on market intelligence in existing and target markets
Monitor sales forecast
Assisting and coordinating of new hotel openings
Monthly Action Plans executed by Sales Associate
Local Negotiated Accounts & Groups
Trade Show participation representing all Indiana Hospitality Group properties
Establishing relationships with each CVB and Chamber
A self starter who doesn't mind being held accountable.
Assisting in creating first impressions and memorable guest experiences
Embracing the idea that we are all owners of our management company
