Sightline Hospitality is seeking an Area Sales Coordinator (Hawaii). The primary role of the Area Sales Coordinator is to provide administrative and sales support to the Area Sales Team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Correspond with prospects and answer questions about the hotel including availability, accommodations, and hotel services.
  • Sends out proposals & contracts.
  • Communicates reservation confirmations to customers as needed.
  • Supports the hotel sales manager in researching competitors.
  • Enter, retrieve, or reconcile information from the company’s CRM and/or PMS.
  • Enters group information into sales automation system (Delphi, Envision STS, etc.).
  • Gather and assemble sales collateral to send to prospects.
  • Assists Sales team with servicing clients and managing day-to-day sales and administrative activities.
  • Answer incoming leads (both via phone and electronic), qualifying and routing to appropriate sales manager.
  • Assist with coordination and execution of site visits of the property, touring potential clients and responding to all applicable inquiries in an effort to secure the business.
  • Follow-up on cut-off dates, deposit schedule, billing and other logistical requirements for incoming groups and events.
  • Resolve any issues, complaints, and/or problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute assigned sales reporting and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Block & VIP all guest rooms for designated VIP’s for Atea Sales team.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other units of the hotel.
  • Anticipate, understand & respond to guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain standard attendance expectation; Promote and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) required.
  • Hotel Sales experience preferred 2 years with a basic knowledge of food and beverage as it related to catering and social events.
  • Requires a basic understanding of the operations of all departments in the hotel, and what role each department plays in group business.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Physical Abilities:
  • Periodically required to work at a very fast pace.
  • High volume of phone use and email is required.
  • Frequently standing up within and outside of the facility
  • Type at least 50 wpm; proficient PC computer skills Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Communicating with customers, employees, and third parties
  • Use a keyboard to generate correspondence, reports, etc.
  • Handling objects, products, and computer equipment
  • Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances.
