Area Sales Contractor

Job title: Donut Sales Contractor

Reports to: Owners, Managers

Job description: Responsible for selling donuts and other baked goods to companies for retail sales and distribution purposes. Visits companies, delivers presentations, and takes orders. This person is a self-starter, good with people, highly motivated, and driven.

Schedule: Flexible, but will be given sales numbers that need to be met. This depends on the needs of the team, events and seasonal action items. This will be the general schedule.

Job responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Sell donuts and pastries to businesses and individuals.
• Sell donuts for the purpose of redistribution and to get the donuts into the market.
• Sell donuts to restaurants, caterers, event planners, gas stations, local etc.
• Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales territory.
• Develop a daily/weekly “call” list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
• Review daily sales reports.
• Review monthly the best monitoring sales report with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met.
• Coordinate sales with Heirloom kitchen to ensure demand is met.
• Communicate trends/pricing issues and other unique issues as it relates to sales.
• Work closely with local brokers/manufacturers on developing new business and promoting manufacturers’ product lines.
• Develop new markets and accounts by utilizing the current relationships and building new relationships in the food service channel.
• Participate in local events with food trucks/vendors to sell donuts.
• Coordinate schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.

• Requirements: Training and willingness to continue learning Exceptional listening and communication skills. Excellent proofreading skills, grammar, and professional language Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods. Availability to work some weekends. A polite, engaging personality. A self-starter who completes tasks efficiently. Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation Experience with Google Drive, Gmail, Canva, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Docusign
