    Job Description

    Olsson provides electrical engineering services for commercial, large-scale data centers, school/university buildings, water/wastewater facilities, and military facilities. As an Associate Engineer in the North Kansas City, MO office for the Mechanical/Electrical team, you will complete various tasks, including the preparation of design documents, calculations, and specifications for various projects. Projects would be completed under the direct supervision of experienced electrical engineers that will provide mentorship, training, and project quality review. Flexibility and willingness to provide timely solutions are a must.

    You bring to the team:

    • Strong Communication Skills
    • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
    • Bachelor’s in architectural or electrical engineering
    • Must have passed and obtained their Fundamentals of Engineering
    • 4 to 8 years of experience in the consulting industry
    • Experience with commercial electrical design, including office buildings, restaurants, apartments, and/or higher education facilities, is preferred.
    • Communication with internal and external clients
    • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
    • Understanding of International Building Codes is a bonus.
    • Experience with RSMeans or estimating construction costs is a bonus.
