Job Description

The AR/AP Clerk will maintain an accurate record of payable financial transactions, and offer strategies and solutions to help Creative Works audit payables. This role is responsible for collecting payments for Creative Works, using various forms of communication, while being a steward for the customer through the financial process of their project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

AR

• Generate invoices and account statements for clients and other departments
• Utilize ERP system to advance project through system as payments are collected
• Perform collections of past due accounts
• Conduct daily banking activities using remote deposit scanner
• Analyze and ensure accuracy of monthly payments to outside vendors
• Be the first point of contact for incoming customer phone calls to the company for finance related questions
• Assist customers with all aspects of finance related to their projects with Creative Works
• Communicate project payment status with project management department for smooth process flow

AP

• Process all accounts payable invoices and prepare for payment
• Maintain corporate card account including analyzing monthly charges
• Collect all receipts for audit purposes
• Collect and organize physical and digital financial records

• Ability to gather and monitor information that is highly confidential
• Ability to focus, work under pressure, and deliver quality results under tight timelines
• Be highly organized, detailed, accurate and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload is critical.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years in an accounts payable position, preferably in manufacturing or construction-related business
• Proficient in Google Suite and Excel
• Proficient in Quickbooks software - this is a MUST (we use the ONLINE version only)
• College degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license

Pay and Benefits:

• Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday - Friday - can be flexible on start/end times as needed
