The Analyst will perform a key role in managing the daily responsibilities for our billing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail. This role requires excellent organization, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining accountability and working with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create clients Invoices & credit memo requests in our ERP system Oracle.
- Assist with other entities Invoicing as needed.
- Conduct account research and analysis on errors.
- Work closely with client Stakeholders on ensuring data is received on a timely basis.
- Assist with audit related questions and SOX workbooks.
- Other AR Related projects that arise.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of AR/Billing experience in a similar high-growth environment.
- Oracle GL Accounting system experience (or similar ERP).
- Experience managing high volume of multiple billing types including usage-based and revenue deferrals.
- Billing for international entities.
- Tax related billing experience.
- Very strong Microsoft Excel skills (lookup functions, pivot tables, etc.) and experience working with large amounts of data.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail a must.
- Needs to have overall billing experience.
- Detail oriented - needs to work in a fast paced environments.
- Need to change and be adaptable to changing request, patience, even keeled.
- Work with urgency for month close.
- Team can help train.
- Internal customer facing.
- Keep internal partners accountable and organized(previous experience).
- Know and understand escalation points.
- Former titles to source: Billing Analyst, Billing Specialist.
- Oracle Excel uploads to ERP Mapping.
