Ar Accountant

Job Title: AR Accountant
Location: Orlando, Florida (On-site)
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year
Responsibilities:
Process incoming customer payments and accurately apply them to the appropriate accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due accounts.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all AR transactions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the AR function.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
