The Readiness Specialist will:
- Collects and inputs data into various databases, analyses data, and prepares the following recurring reports: USR (Unit Status Reporting) - DRRS-A (Defense Readiness Reporting System-Army), Weekly CPUP Report, War Report.
- Provides custom queries and reports as needed (EOH, Ship, and UIC information), and other special reports/projects as requested by ASC, AFSBn-CH, or KBR Staff.
- Provides custom charts and statistical data accumulated from a variety of databases and/or sources, using logistical and maintenance knowledge.
- Provide direct support to Shipboard Section via verifying all Modification Work Orders (MWO), Safety of Use Messages (SOUM), Ground Precautionary Messages (GPM), etc.
- Process, track for Action and possible parts requisitioning, and report when complete all Urgent MWO's, SOUM's, GPM's, etc.
- Provide direct support to Shipboard Section via open, track and update work Orders in GCSS-ARMY.
- Provide Government Staff with Reports, data or information as requested or tasked.
- Uphold KBR's Zero Harm safety program policies and procedures Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain base access and/or security clearance if required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
- 2 years related experience in fields involving production, logistics, supply, or record keeping using automated systems.
- High School diploma, college completion viewed favorably but not required.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Skilled in using of various Microsoft Office programs, (Excel and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of MICRO-Soft Project, a plus
- Working knowledge of G-Army a plus.
- Working knowledge of Army unit structure i.e. MTOEs, authorizations, requirements, equipment readiness.
- Prior experience with Operations in military service or working with Army staff is a plus.
- Must be able to meet government-specified requirements for deployment.
- Ability to walk and stand regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in the heat and cold, when required.
- Ability to work overtime as required by production schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day.
- Must be able to Lift - up to 35 - 50 lbs. periodically.
- Must be able to squat, knell, bend, reach and climb periodically.
- Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.
