APRN - OB/GYN (FT) (Langley-Hopper)

Practicing OB/GYN physicians seeking a NP to add to theirgrowing practice. Family, Adult, or Women's Health certification required.Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. No call. Prior RN experience in Women'sHealth, Urology or GYN preferred.
Duties include:

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare toadult & adolescent patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostictests within the scope of practice
• Accurately performs history and physicalexaminations
• Consults, co-manages and refers patients asappropriate
• Prescribes medications as delegated in protocoland procedures
• Completes necessary documentation in a timelymanner
• Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests& IV fluids consistent with scope of practice of the physician and NursePractitioner
• Providing assessment of patients medical,physical & psychological status
• Documents examination results & recordsprogress notes and provides continuity of care
• Well women check, paps, routine GYN & pelvicexams, routine OB visits, etc
• BLS certification required
