Job description
Main Purpose
This position will code waste streams for various customers, deciding the best treatment solution for incoming waste based on specifications and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow within the environmental services industry.
The role
Key job responsibilities

• Code all wastes according to processing capability of plants
• Ensure that waste can be handled legally, safely, and economically
• Document waste approvals
• Maintain all approvals filing
• Sort through 280+ emails and answer them accordingly
• Other duties as assigned

The person
Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or other related science is preferred
• Possess adequate computer skills
• Strong candidates must possess a great work ethic, and have the ability to work alone as well as in a group
• Minimum of one (1) year industry experience and working knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations is desirable.
