Our Apprenticeship Specialist coordinates these initiatives to provide individuals with valuable skills and pathways to rewarding careers while strengthening the overall fabric of our regional economy.

Apprenticeship Specialist Responsibilities:

• Conduct company and apprenticeship meetings.
• Coordinate details and logistics with companies, schools, and stakeholders.
• Advise companies on apprenticeship recruitment and selection criteria.
• Maintain data in the Commonwealth’s apprenticeship system.
• Coordinate training schedules with companies and consultants.
• Support outreach to attract employers and schools.
• Customize On the Job Training (OJT) Job Books with companies.
• Manage curriculum and 3rd party purchases accurately.
• Handle client-paid apprenticeship income.
• Visit clients to assess needs and view processes.

Requirements:

• College degree in Business Administration, Education or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of experience working with apprenticeship programs.
• Experience coordinating a manufacturing-related program, preferred.
• Experience with paid work-based learning, pre-apprenticeship, youth programming, preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to adequate transportation.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
