Overview Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Vehicle Tech at our brand-new, state-of-the-art Service Center in Chelsea, MA. This temporary role allows employees to gain hand's on experience with performing light maintenance, Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and conducting the in-fleeting process according to procedures on our fleet of late model rental vehicles - no customer interaction involved. This unique position is available to current students enrolled in an Automotive Technology program! This position is designed to be a temporary position with employment not to exceed 89 days and will start late May/early June and last through August. The position offers the opportunity to grow and strengthen your skill set, while also having the opportunity to earn a full-time employment offer along with promotion and pay increases into our Maintenance and Auto Tech/Mechanic positions at the same location! This position offers hourly pay (not flat rate) of $20 / hour. Responsibilities Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklistInspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturerPerforming light maintenance on vehicles in fleet and general lot maintenanceResponsible for prepping and inspection of new car stock, installing new units, labeling units with VIN stickers and key tags. Perform other related duties as requiredEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be a current student enrolled in an Automotive Technology program with an anticipated completion date in Spring 2025.Basic mechanical experience required to perform light maintenance activities.Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years (DUI/DWI).Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
