Apprentice Electrician (Construction)

Established in 2023, New Carrot Company, operating under the name Bolthouse Fresh Foods, is headquartered in the California Central Valley community of Bakersfield. Specializing in carrot production, the company caters to both retail and food service operations and is renowned for its Bolthouse Farms brand, widely distributed in major retailers across the United States and Canada.

Bolthouse Fresh Foods is a subsidiary of Butterfly Equity, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm with a specialty in the food sector. Butterfly Equity's expertise spans the entire food value chain, from 'seed to fork,' with a focus on agriculture & aquaculture, food & beverage products, food distribution, and foodservice.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

his person will work for the Electrical Construction Crew:

• Take on small to large scale electrical construction projects.
• Safety awareness always and lead by example
• Always promote and perform safe work behavior.
• Deliver the highest level possible of craftsmanship.
• Team player attitude while working with others to finish project on time and in a safe manner.
• Attend daily pass-downs.
• Turn in daily time sheets in system for hours to be properly allocated.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Team player
• Eager to learn Conduit Bending, Threading, and Installing (Ridgid, Robroy, EMT, PVC)
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Highly productive and motivated
• Microsoft Office (basics)
• Forklift Cert
• Any other Job-related Certifications will be considered.
• Excellent Craftsmanship to be expected and delivered.
• Meticulous when given complex directions.
• Ability to observe, learn, and implement.

Minimum Qualification:

• H.S. Diploma

• Currently attending trade school or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the electrical construction field.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Physical Demands:

• Must help with all aspects of construction, wire pulls, conduit bending and threading.
• Must be able to lift to 70 lbs.
• Work in cold, hot, or wet conditions

Hours & Workdays:

• 1st Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM); when business requires, overtime and weekends will be mandatory.
