Job Summary
The role of the Applications Support Engineer is to assist, identify and support development of internal solutions for operations and support groups including Finance, Culinary & Marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure cloud services, database technologies & a working knowledge of programming in .NET. Familiarity with creating and maintaining SharePoint sites is required. The role will also involve interfacing with security to ensure that compliance and governance standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide APPLICATION SUPPORT for Culinary, Finance, Operations & Marketing groups
Ensure critical data feeds from ERP systems are processed and curated for reporting
Maintain Azure hosted environment
Create SharePoint sites as needed
Support the team with any application and infrastructure security reviews
Work closely with the operational support teams to understand and solution common business requirements and issues
Support testing and implementing new technologies for pilot projects
Performing additional job duties as assigned by the IS Manager
Job Qualifications
Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent required. Four or more years of experience with IT systems implementation
Experience working independently as well as within team environments
Proficiency with Microsoft software applications
Strong customer service skills
Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
