Application Development Scrum Master - Manager

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies is seeking an Application Development Scrum Master to support the U.S. Forest Service (FS) team with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of deployed applications, agile development of new applications and modernization of legacy applications using both custom and low-code approaches..

Duties/ Responsibilities 

• Scrum master for multiple software development projects and use agile software development methodology

• Guide and coach the scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles

• Resolve team and cross-functional team impediments, and escalate as needed

• Work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and scrum team daily

• Present and provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders on status, risks, mitigation, etc. in both written and verbal communications

• Manage the project schedule and roadmap

• Facilitate and lead all scrum meetings (daily scrum, release/sprint planning, demos, etc.)

• Check deliverables against requirements to ensure compliance

• Guide team with determining and defining scope, roadmap, vision

• Provide regular feedback, coaching and performance reviews to team members

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience leading O&M teams using agile approaches

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a must

• Excellent leadership skills

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to handle multiple project assignments

• Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels

• Ability to plan, organize, and structure work

• Experience motivating teams in a virtual environment

• Understands the Software Development Lifecyle concepts and process

• Experience working for Federal or State govt is preferred

Education and Experience:

• 7+ years of relevant experience

• Bachelor of Science in business analysis, business administration, IT, or any related field

Clearance Requirement:

• Public Trust

Travel:

• Possibility for very infrequent travel in the US

Salary:

• $110k - $120k
