Application Developer (Java) (Remote)

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Works with Business / Functional Analysts to understand business problems and design/develop technical solutions
• Develop technical design or system specification documentation
• Apply structured design and structured programming techniques to assigned development tasks
• Develop task / project estimates, and project schedules
• Develop unit and system test cases and test plans, conduct testing activities
• Provide application troubleshooting support as needed
• Diagnosing integration and performance problems and implementing long-term solutions
• Supporting the goals of the company's technological alignment efforts
• Seeking out and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
• Supporting internal communications related to business improvements and processes, system upgrades, and enhancements
• Build and sustain working relationships with all AUS functional areas

• Ensuring accurate and efficient governance policy development and adherence
• Report on statuses when requested
• Submit all time and expense reporting procedures accurately and timely
• Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance related matters (i.e., assigned mandatory trainings, actions required from audits, corporate policies, etc.)
• Perform all additional duties and responsibilities based on the direction and guidance of supervisor

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong experience in JAVA , JavaScript, WebApi, Microsoft service / web service development, IIS, MVC, Html, CSS, Typescript
• Oracle / SQL Server Database: Write complex queries, Create / modify stored procedures, functions and views
• Experience in Angular 2 and up
• Knowledge of Delphi programming language would be a plus
• Skilled and proficient in MS Office O365 suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Communications Tools, etc.)
• Ability to operate with a customer-centric service approach
• Ability to establish performance-based relationships with 3rd party vendors and technology providers and versed in setting standards and measurements for IT processes
• Ability to effectively define a business case, determine return on investment, and measure achievement of the case over time
• Ability to manage and work on multiple concurrent deliverables at various stages of development and completion
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among teams
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Professional level verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality of work products and communications
• Willingness to seek out and implement coaching, suggestions, and guidance from others

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:

• Ensure necessary working environment and capabilities to effectively carry out responsibilities if working from a non-AUS location (remote work)
• Ability and willingness to handle work related issues during all hours of the day, every day of the week, understanding the responsibility of our organization's requirement for 24/7 production support
• Ability, willingness, and flexibility to travel as needed for approved work purposes in accordance with project and management schedules

Experience/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Online Customer Experience (Business Sites, Customer Portals, B2C, B2B and/or B2B2C ecommerce business practices)
• 5+ years of experience with modern software design patterns, debugging, and refactoring

• Experience with the use of Project Management methodologies and tools

• Bachelor and/or Master's degree preferred but not required
• Be legally able to work in the United States: U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident

Optional Qualifications:

• Development experience with Hybris or SAP Cx modules, Commerce Cloud (CCV2)
• Experience on integrating various payment providers
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps
• Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, other)
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

License Requirements/Certifications:
Valid U.S. drivers license (for rental cars when applicable)

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, depending on circumstances, including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors
