Axient is currently seeking an Application Developer to join our team and provide technical support to our customer at Hill Air Force Base Utah.
Responsibilities: - Assist the Air Force Sentinel Combined Test Force (CTF) Lead Developmental Test & Evaluation Organization (LDTO) in conducting ICBM development tests and evaluations activities for the Air Force next generation ICBM nuclear deterrent.
- Assist the Development Operations team with the building and optimization of secure web. applications necessary to support test and evaluation operations.
- Design front-end application interfaces based on customer requirements.
- Identify, track and mitigate risks associated with tool development and deployment.
- Contribute to the development of application code and maintain version control via GIT.
- Integrate the development of tools and applications within operations teams.
- Leverage Agile and Scrum development methodologies to identify and track daily tasking.
- Automate the development process through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Assist with the user testing of tools and applications under development and revision.
- Maintain communication with team members and supervisor concerning progress of application development projects.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups as needed.
- Ability to obtain a Secret DOD clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-10 years of experience, to include app development.
- Background in user interface design, testing/debugging (desired).
- Familiarity with version control/GIT and Javascript (highly desired).
- Experience in web design, project management, design sense, agile/scrum (highly desired).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a group.
