Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL & Kennesaw, GA & Richmond, VA. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating interactive web front-end UI from a combination of wireframes, visual designs, and design standards
• Certain projects may also require creation of visual designs and wireframes directly from business concepts in accordance with user experience standards and guidelines
• Guide the creation of design standards to ensure that they are technically feasible and will work in the production environment; this requires close partnership with production application development and architecture teams to fully understand server-side constraints
• Frontend UI will be regularly reviewed at senior levels in the business organization and prompt turnaround of deliverables is crucial to the success of the initiative

Requirements:

• Meticulous attention to detail and a proper sense of urgency
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in modern web development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript based on web standards
• Experience in building interactive applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/7), HTML, CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
• Experience using CSS grids and building responsive websites with scalability in mind
• Understanding of React functional components and hooks
• Experience consuming REST APIs using Fetch, Axios, etc.
• Understanding of how to scale CSS for multiple large websites, with different branding
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS, Handlebars
• Understanding of website performance
• Experience with the Source control tools like GIT
• Experience in Agile development environment and tools such as JIRA
• Able to provide mentorship to junior developers
• Experience in implementing ADA/Accessibility (Level AA AAA) Requirements
• GraphQL, Appolo, Clay, Bootstrap, Material UI
• Understanding of OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins
• Experience with Adobe Tools (Photoshop/Illustrator) Works well within, or leading a cross-functional multicultural team Effective communication with Business partners, UX designers and other stakeholders

Pay Range: $63.68 - $71.68
