Delivery Driver / Helper (***IMMEDIATE OPENINGS***)
Duties:
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Deliver appliances to different addresses throughout central Indiana
- Follow routes, time schedule, and DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate a box truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries by verifying items against delivery manifests
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful during deliveries
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the day (50lbs +)
- Clean background (no major felonies)
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver and/or helper
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (For Hire
- Experience with basic appliance installation and removal
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
Please note that this is a 1099 position with weekly pay. Willingness to work weekends and some holidays is a requirement to be considered for this job opportunity. Typically working hours are 6:30am until all deliveries are completed for the day. Reliable transportationis a MUST!
