Production maintenance, designing & developing interface code, monitor and troubleshoot interfaces

Required Skills: Eagle, EagleView/DSS Data Warehouses, Invision HL/7ADT (GRV3) Interface to Eagle, multiple on-line & batch HL/7 charge interfaces, Proprietary Charge Interfaces, BARP01 interface, HL/7 Doctor MFN M02 Interface3 to 10+ years maintaining software Production maintenance, designing & developing interface code, monitor and troubleshoot interfaces. Heavy focus will be on after-hours, weekend and holiday Eagle Production support. This role will require 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Must be proficient with Eagle, Eagle Files/Databases, EagleView/DSS Data Warehouses.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server 2012 R2 – MS SQL SERVER 2016 including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and Visual Studio Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft development in C#, Windows Powershell, and Visual Basic.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel, Windows Task Scheduler, Notepad++ and Visio.
• Effective troubleshooting and performance tuning skills - should be able to identify and resolve moderate performance issues
• Ability to provide time-sensitive billing problem resolution, both during overnight support for batch jobs and unbilled error follow-up assistance for Patient Accounting.
• Ability to work with the customers, gather requirements, converting requirements into Specifications and review results with the customer.
• Ability to develop Custom Reports, including:
• Combining information from dunning and/or trial balance with A/R response detail;
• Breaking down trial balance for selected financial classes by age and payer response (payment, denial payment and denial, no payment or denial);
• Developing Aged Trial Balance reporting by referral date for agency accounts;
• Agency Reconciliation and Performance Reporting;
• Self-Pay Reporting by last master bill date, first master bill date
• Experience required with Code File Management, including automated table-driven charge code creation, and BMF Auditing.

• Customized Balance Write-Off and Correction
• Credit Balance Analysis and Management Tools
• On/Account Apply Programs
• Responsible for working with the business community, interpreting their business requirements, developing technical specifications for the programing, and ensuring the final product meets client expectations.
• Prepare detailed IT system documentation for interface problem resolution and technical guidance for Customer's employees in the business support department for on-line & batch interface problem resolution.
• Provide technical training on a continuing basis to Customer's operations employees to monitor and troubleshoot interfaces and balancing report issues.
• Ability to communicate directly with upper level Finance Management to develop automated solutions based on customer needs.
• Act as a Liaison to the Patient Accounting Department at Northwell Health with the IS staff.
• The Consultant shall receive assignments from, and direct issues to, Northwell Senior Manager for Eagle IT.
• Work closely with all Northwell Health Application teams, especially the TCoE Application team, in DEV, QA & Training Environments as required for all new project and maintenance-based application upgrades.
• Support the TCoE team in setting up test scenarios for testing application changes for ADT, automated/interfaced charge generation and billing support.
• Work closely with the TCoE testing group to run charge posting and billing jobs on demand.
