Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized Physical Education programs for students with disabilities
- Adapt and modify Physical Education activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Assess students' physical abilities and progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
- Promote physical fitness, motor skills, and social interaction among students
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Adapted Physical Education or related field
- Valid state certification in Adapted Physical Education
- Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
