Apartment Cleaner/Groundskeeper

Rich Properties is currently seeking an Apartment Cleaner/Groundskeeper for an apartment community in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate performs janitorial and grounds keeping duties to ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the property and assists the Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Supervisor with cleaning and painting of apartments after move out.

Job Description: To be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property and all areas related to the day-to-day upkeep of the community. Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1) Cleaning of common areas including grounds, restrooms, offices, fitness center, gym, media room, etc.

2) Cleaning and painting of vacant move outs to return them to move in condition.

3) Maintenance of grounds such as picking up trash, pet waste, emptying trash cans & pet stations, etc.

4) Pressure Washing of buildings, sidewalks, and other common areas.

5) Light repairs

6) Assist Maintenance Team with refurbishing of vacant apartments prior to occupancy.

7) Other responsibilities as determined and delegated by the Property Manager.

8) Be flexible to report to work at both of our locations on a rotating basis.

1) Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Training in some or all of these areas a plus: cleaning, painting, minor maintenance repairs, pressure washing, grounds keeping.

3) Preferred working hours are M-F, 8am to 4:30pm

This is an entry level position which provides training and room for growth.
