Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AP & AR Specialist to join a well-established mixed-use real estate firm in the west valley. This individual will be responsible for managing the daily accounts receivable and accounts payable functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Post all invoices related to multiple assigned commercial properties
Research missing or overdue invoices
Facilitate weekly check run for assigned properties
Deposit and post all rent payments
Provide admin support to the accounting team such as scanning and filing as needed
Assist with the annual 1099 preparation

Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines while working independently or with a team
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED, required
At least two years experience of related accounting experience, required
Type a minimum of 30 WPM, required
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, required
Working experience in real estate and/or construction, preferred
Proficiency with Timberline, Timberscan, MRI, Yardi, and QuickBooks, preferred
