We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance and accounting team as an AP/AR associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data entry, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting various accounting functions.
[Job Description]
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Matching purchase orders, and processing cash, credit card, ACH, and check deposits daily.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Pay vendors by scheduling pay either checks or ACH and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance.
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
- Apply for payments and keep the information updated in QuickBooks.
[Qualifications]
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software, with a preference for experience in QuickBooks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
