The AP Clerk/Receptionist will support the administrative team by managing customers, visitors, telephone messages, and calls in professional and efficient manner. In addition, this person will perform various clerical duties, which will support the presentation and operation of a professional organization.
Receptionist Duties:
· Greet all visitors by offering refreshments, inform the appropriate staff of their arrival
· Manage incoming calls and route calls as appropriate
· Receive incoming courier packages and prepare outgoing package
· Process daily outgoing mail using postage machine and retrieve incoming mail from post office including opening, stamping and sorting
Accounts Payable Clerk Job Duties:
· Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
· Charges expenses to accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
· Receives and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
· Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
· Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
· Other administrative duties assigned by Accounts Receivable Manager
