The Pasadena branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a local industrial contracting company to add an AP Clerk to their team! This is a long-term temp-to-hire position working for a company that has been in business since 1987.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all incoming AP Invoices, working and keeping up with the AP email inbox
- Sending invoices out to the field for approval and posting once approved.
- Reviewing vendor statements to ensure client has all invoices and filing all invoices once paid.
- Other responsibilities that would be included, but not limited to are processing new hires and other administrative tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic computer knowledge, intermediate knowledge or higher in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Must be self-motivated- they are a small company of 50-60 employees and there are only two employees iin office handling all back office accounting & financials, they need someone that takes responsibility seriously and takes initiative, and is not afraid to ask questions. Some exposure/knowledge of accounting programs and basic accounting functions.
- AP experience is preferred but would be open to candidates with accounting experience outside of AP
PAY: $20-$25/hour
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
